This lecture will explore the transformative innovations in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging, tracing its evolution from early systems to today´s advanced imaging modalities. Emphasis will be placed on recent breakthroughs such as widefield imaging, which offers comprehensive views of ocular structures, and enhanced anterior segment analysis in aiding diagnostic accuracy and surgical planning. Additionally, the integration of swept-source technology, corneal thickness maps and sophisticated denoising capabilities will be discussed, highlighting their impact on clinical practice. Attendees will gain insight into the new features of Topcon´s Triton swept-source OCT and their clinical application through a series of case studies presented by global ophthalmologists and optometrists.
